RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY

At Correcto, we believe trust is built on transparency. In accordance with Belgian consumer protection laws and our commitment to professional integrity, here are our clear terms for returns and cancellations.

1. Right of Withdrawal (Legal Deadline)

By law, you have a 14-day period from the receipt of your order to change your mind without justification.

Correcto Commitment: To offer you extra peace of mind, we extend this reflection period to 30 days.

Beyond this 30-day window, we unfortunately cannot offer a refund or exchange, except in cases involving the legal warranty for hidden defects or non-conformity.

2. Conditions for Eligibility

For a return to be accepted in the spirit of mutual respect, the item must be:

  • In its original condition: The item may be unpacked and inspected (as you would in a physical store), but must not have been used extensively or permanently assembled.

  • Complete: Including all accessories, manuals, and original packaging.

  • Accompanied by proof of purchase: An invoice or order confirmation.

Note on Depreciation: If the item is returned damaged or shows wear resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature and functionality, a reduction in the refund amount may be applied.

3. Exceptions (Non-Returnable Items)

In accordance with Article VI.53 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized.

  • Sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons if they were unsealed after delivery.

  • Gift cards.

4. Return Procedure

To ensure your request is handled efficiently, please follow these steps:

  1. Notification: Email us at support@correcto.shop to notify us of your intent to return.

  2. Shipping: Send the item to the address provided by our team. Do not send returns directly to the manufacturer.

  3. Shipping Costs: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the product is defective or does not match the original order.

5. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • We will send you an email confirming receipt.

  • Refunds are processed using the same payment method used for the initial transaction.

  • Timeline: We commit to processing your refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of shipment.

Sale Items: Under EU law, the right of withdrawal applies to all online purchases, including items bought on sale. Therefore, discounted items are refundable under the same conditions as standard items.

6. Legal Warranty (Defective Products)

If your product is faulty or does not match the description, you are protected by the 2-year legal warranty of conformity (Belgian Law of September 21, 2004).

  • Contact us immediately with photos of the issue.

  • In these cases, we will cover all return shipping costs and provide a full refund or a replacement.

7. Shipping Responsibility

We strongly recommend using a shipping service with tracking.

  • For items valued over €100, we suggest purchasing shipping insurance.

  • The item remains your responsibility until it reaches our warehouse. Correcto cannot be held liable for returns lost in transit.
